Goodbye

 I regret to say that this is a farewell post in which I can have the chance to express my experiences and ideas about the tasks I have gained during the whole term.  First of all, if we think about whether the course presents strengths or weaknesses, it will undoubtedly be a very appropriate decision to consider how important today's technology is in education. Therefore, it is inevitable for me to adopt the idea that this course plays an extremely important role in the integration of technology into course content. Moreover, The most important issue that I had difficulty with during the course is that most of the tools that I want to use in the process of fulfilling the tasks are paid, so they provide a limited area of use.  My favorite task was our flipped classroom assignment. Because if we consider that teachers teach in a limited time in the classroom, this method will save them time and they will have the chance to plan a more interactive lesson. My least favo...

Creating a Research-Based Project

Today, we will be focusing on a technology-enhanced research project for our final task. While creating our project, we worked together with Defne. Let's go over our experiences together to see its advantages and disadvantages if there are any. According to the instructions we are given by our lecturer, we utilized Progress, Preparatory Class sourcebook to decide on our topic for this project. We preferred using WebQuest among the two options presented. We were supposed to create four main sections: introduction, task, process, and evaluation. So, we worked on the topic of movies. Fort his reason, we emphasized movie genres and related vocabulary by providing general knowledge about what genre is followed by related vocabulary. Lastly, we provided our students with example conversations that they can benefit from both by expanding their knowledge and vocabulary. Augmented Reality Integrated Teaching Material

 Hello to all of you! Let’s start with what augmented reality means to us. Augmented reality is a technology that allows users to see video, pictures, and 3D models and animations in a 3D environment based on real-world components. AR gives your devices new opportunities to aid you throughout your day by allowing you to interact with digital material in the same way you interact with the real world. It allows you to visually search for items by just pointing your camera at them.  We  can have accsess AR Through QR codes, Trigger images, Markerless AR apps and GPS location. Flipped classroom Video

Hello to all of you! In this post, we'll discuss what flipped classroom refers to and our experience trying to implement it. For the given task, I worked with Defne . Flipped classrooms flip the usual classroom approach by giving educational information online prior to class, allowing students to work on problem-solving or cooperative-learning assignments with the instructor's assistance during class time. It has several advantages, such as allowing students to select when, how, and where they want to see learning materials before class, and shifting accountability from teachers to students, resulting in a more student-centered learning environment than the flipped classroom. Moreover, the flipped classroom method stimulates engagement and connection, enhances academic achievement and learning motivation, gives students more time to address problems alone and cooperatively with the support of peers and instructors, and boosts autonomy and self-regulation. Creating a corpus-based teaching material

 Corpus supplies the data from which students can uncover patterns on their own. The emphasis is mainly on grammar and vocabulary. In the assignment in question, I worked with Defne . Choosing one confusing issue for English learners, we sought to give a place for the "research-then-theory" approach via Corpus-based instruction.  We utilized MEB English coursebook while deciding on our subject. The initial step was to decide whether we would create our corpus-based materials that would be used in class or out of the class. Timeline about technology utilization in language learning

 Hello everyone! This week, we are supposed to create a timeline about the use of technology in language teaching considering the developments that occurred at that time. In effect, visual learning tools such as timelines will help certain pupils absorb and retain knowledge. A timeline is a graphical representation of data. As a consequence of this, timelines assist instructors in conveying their lessons to pupils, and they assist students in comprehending what is provided to them. I had difficulty in what to include in the timeline in that they should be both rich in knowledge and simplified.
