ABOUT ME

I’m Buse. I live in Kocaeli, Turkey. I’m studying English language teaching at Marmara University. But, I’ve lived in so many cities so far. I’m always focused on people’s ideas and attitudes towards an occasion. For this reason, I think I am good at observing what goes on around me. To me, what lead me to do so is because I had to get used to different cities and atmospheres at the same time. The more people I bumped into, the more enthusiastic I became to notice every single soul on earth. So, as a teacher candidate, I’m into scrutinizing essays and articles that can be helpful in acquiring the necessary skills for teachers. I’m striving not to be ill-equipped for such a responsible job. Also, I am utterly open to different ideas. In all honesty, this is one of the features of living in such a world. I set out to make up some distinctive and drastic changes in the field of English education by acting in a way that prompts my students to be global people. I’ve created that blog in order to share my experiences and a great deal of significant knowledge as to the field of English itself, teaching and learning process with the subjects that are required by my educational technology course. I hope you enjoy doing research and getting lost in the unknown world of English learning with me.

INFOGRAPHIC

Hello to all of you! This week’s task was creating an infographic and we were supposed to give brief information about higher education in Turkey during the pandemic and provide tips about how to be successful in online education as a university student. For this task, ı used Piktochart . From my point of view, it is quite easy to use. Moreover, it has a large scale of infographic templates which is also pretty important. When it comes to utilization, I would like to benefit from infographics in the classroom. Because it looks professional, catchy, and attention-grabbing at the same time. I suppose that it would be enjoyable and informative to use it after reading a book to want its summary and grammar learning. It can lead students to learn while enjoying and facilitate technology. So, that’s all for now. Stay in touch for further posts. Here is my infographic:
