PODCAST

This week we are required to create a podcast in educational technologies lesson. My podcast entails what change I would make if I had a chance in 60 seconds. I found it difficult to state the concept of changing the world exactly in 60 seconds. Because I think we have tons of things to say for such a remarkable and significant issue. However, I had to shorten my ideas and avoid going into detail. It had to be simple and remarkable at the same time.

I think recording a podcast is very effective. On the other hand, it made me a little bit stressed because I had some doubts if I miss something important out. When I become a teacher, I can consider giving such an assignment to my students. Because ıt is a good opportunity for pupils to produce something in a target language, which is also helpful to remain motivated and enthusiastic. Moreover, given 21st-century learning, it is important for teachers to incorporate technology into their lessons.

As for the pros and cons of this task, I can say that making podcasts is becoming more and more popular day by day. How effective they are in acquiring a language is known worldwide. But, you should exactly form a plan of what you’ll say. Because if you stop many times to think of what you gonna say, it can be boring for the audience because the only means you communicate is what comes out from your mouth during podcasts. So, that's all for now. Stay in touch for further posts!

INFOGRAPHIC

Hello to all of you! This week’s task was creating an infographic and we were supposed to give brief information about higher education in Turkey during the pandemic and provide tips about how to be successful in online education as a university student. For this task, ı used Piktochart . From my point of view, it is quite easy to use. Moreover, it has a large scale of infographic templates which is also pretty important. When it comes to utilization, I would like to benefit from infographics in the classroom. Because it looks professional, catchy, and attention-grabbing at the same time. I suppose that it would be enjoyable and informative to use it after reading a book to want its summary and grammar learning. It can lead students to learn while enjoying and facilitate technology. So, that’s all for now. Stay in touch for further posts. Here is my infographic:
