MOVIE POSTER

 Hello to all of you, we made a book-based movie poster this week.

This poster is made by following these instructions:

•             Title of the novel must be in large writing

•             The author’s name as a director

•             Your name as a producer.

•             Creating a tag line is also important

•             You can choose famous movie stars and cast them

•             Illustration should be the focus of the poster and give the audience a good idea of the setting or plot.

•             Two quotes will be incorporated on the poster.

•             Stars and rating of the novel must be on the poster

I choose something in the water by Catherine Steadman as a novel. I used postermywall.com to create my poster. It is quite easy to use and has a huge amount of templates. I would use a similar task with my students because it’s actually entertaining and leads them to be exposed to the target language. As you can see at the end of the poster, I created an imaginary cast for the movie as if I was the producer and author was the director and everything from the costume designer to the screenwriter.
