BOOK REVIEW ON A WIKI PAGE

This week we were required to write a book review as a wiki project. First, we selected a book that we want to write about – mine was Fahrenheit 451 - and give necessary information at the very beginning of the review such as author, number of pages, genre, etc. The core aim of this task was to experience a wiki that you can freely edit.  Let’s move on to the details of the wiki project. Writing about the basic info about the book, we formed a plot summary. As a person who is always curious about more details, it was hard to keep it short. Because it has to be simple but at the same time you have to make sure that you don’t miss any key points out.  Next, we tried to catch the reader’s attention by making up questions that involve interesting points. After we state why we recommend the book we’ve chosen, we rate it on a 5-star scale. Finally, we end our entry with a tag like “keep reading. So, that’s all for now. Stay in touch for further posts! PODCAST

This week we are required to create a podcast in educational technologies lesson. My podcast entails what change I would make if I had a chance in 60 seconds. I found it difficult to state the concept of changing the world exactly in 60 seconds. Because I think we have tons of things to say for such a remarkable and significant issue. Because ıt is a good opportunity for pupils to produce something in a target language, which is also helpful to remain motivated and enthusiastic. Moreover, given 21st-century learning, it is important for teachers to incorporate technology into their lessons.   As for the pros...

21ST-CENTURY LEARNING

People used to exploit knowledge resources through books. Acquiring knowledge was beyond everything at that time. However, we have a diversity of knowledge thanks to technology. We have such an accumulation that it’s time to evaluate and distinguish this knowledge from one another. Today’s generation shouldn’t embrace every piece of information about a situation or phenomenon. It is one of the notable features of 21st-century  learning. So, what is does it mean? 21st-century  learning is today’s new normal. It refers to upending the way of passive learning focused on blatantly memorizing. You can easily find out information about anything but if you add something from your own comprehension, it differs quite a lot. That is to say, you have to enhance your knowledge by applying it to real life, which requires you to leave prior learning methods behind and get used to evaluating, creating, thinking in a critical way, focusing on solutions, and questioning. Moreover...
